Member of Parliament of Mymensingh-10 (Gafargaon) Constituency and Convenor of Upazila Awami League, Fahmi Golandaj Babel MP celebrated the birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina by cutting her 77th birthday cake in Gafargaon, Mymensingh through a colorful event.

On Saturday at around 4 pm, a colourful procession was taken out from the party office of Upazila Awami League organized by Upazila Awami League. After the procession around the main main road of the city, a joy rally was held in front of the party office.

Mr. Fahmi Golandaj Babel, the local member of parliament and public leader, spoke as the chief guest at the joyous rally. Before this, the national party flag was hoisted at the party office and the birthday cake was cut with flowers and tributes were paid to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

On the occasion of Prime Minister's birth anniversary, Gafargaon Upazila Awami League and its affiliated organizations organized various programs including doamahfil. On this occasion Gafargaon Upazila Awami League Vice-President and Upazila Chairman Ashraf Uddin Badal, General Secretary and UP Chairman Md. Abul Kashem, Upazila Vice Chairman Principal Maulana Ataur Rahman, Female Vice Chairman Reshma Akhter 15 UP Chairmen, Awami League, heroic fighters, civil society representatives, leaders of business, cultural, sports organizations, teachers, upazila women in various professions, convenor of Chchasevak League Aurang Helal, convenor of Jubo League Salah Uddin Palash, joint convenor Mahmudul Hasan Sajib, BCL President Mehdi Hasan Sanil, General Secretary Shariful Islam Mondal along with Chchaseb League, Youth League, BCL and other leaders were present.

Chief guest Fahmi Golandaz Babel said that democracy has been established in the country.  The dreams of those who join hands with the foreigners and dream of a caretaker government will remain elusive. Bangabandhu's Sonar Bangla under the opportune leadership of Bangabandhu's daughter is a unique name for the advancement of prosperity. Which is recognized worldwide. Therefore, the people of Bengal see the honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as the beacon of development of Tabed Bengal.

Gafargaon will be the leading upazila in the creation of Smart Bangladesh announced by the Prime Minister. MP Fahmi Golandaz also said, "Gafargaon's soil is the stronghold of Awami League."

Under the special direction of the current Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, we are working in unison at all levels starting from the grassroots level to ensure the victory of the boat symbol to continue the development efforts aimed at building the next smart Gafargaon.
