PM inaugurates model mosque in Baghaichhari thru 'video conference

The Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the Baghaichhari Upazila Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center of Rangamati like the rest of the country through video conference at 11 am on Thursday
The Prime Minister connected virtually from Ganobhaban and inaugurated Baghaichari model mosque in the third phase as well as 50 mosques in different upazilas of the country.
Baghaichhari Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rumana Akhtar presided over the inauguration ceremony as guests, former Rangamati Zilla Parishad Chairman Vrishketu Chakma, Public Works Department Executive Officer Anindya Kaushal, Baghaichhari Upazila Parishad Chairman Sudarshan Chakma, Baghaichhari Municipal Mayor Zamir Hossain, Public Works Department Officer (AC) AQM Upazila Awami League leaders and activists and local public representatives including Shahjalal.
Tk 12 2 crore 32 lakh has been allocated to construct the Baghaichhari Upazila Model Mosque and Cultural Centre.
