PM gifted houses handed over to landless in Patuakhali

The inauguration ceremony of handing over houses to landless families in the fourth phase of Ashrayan Project was virtually inaugurated by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday.
In the fourth phase, Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina declared 39,365 landless and homeless families as house heads and 7 districts and 159 upazilas as landless and homeless (virtually simultaneously).
On this occasion, a discussion meeting was held on Wednesday (March 22nd) at 9 am in Bandhanhara Hallroom Patuakhali Sadar Upazila Parishad under the chairmanship of Executive Officer Mohammad Saifur Rahman.
Patuakhali Reserved Women Constituency Member of Parliament Kazi Kaniz Sultana Helen MP was present as chief guest, Patuakhali District Commissioner Shariful Islam, Superintendent of Police Md. Saidul Islam BPM, PPM, Patuakhali District Awami League President Kazi Alamgir, General Secretary VP were also present as special guests. Abdul Mannan, Upazila Parishad Chairman Add: Golam Sarwar, Upazila Women Vice Chairman Sohana Hossain Miki etc. Also, government officials of different departments of Sadar Upazila, freedom fighters, public representatives of different unions were present.
In the speech of the chief guest in the meeting, Kazi Helen said that the Prime Minister is working to change the fate of the common people of the country, the poor and the poor and women.
The arriving homeless prayed for the prime minister after getting new land and house.
