People’s expectations fulfilled thru announcement of polls schedule: Quader

In an instant reaction to the schedule for the 12th general election, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said that the expectations of the people have been fulfilled through the announcement of the polls schedule.
The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) does not have the power to stop the election train that left, he said.
Regarding the chances of holding a dialogue, Obaidul Quader said the dialogue between Donald Lu and the CEC is not the same.
The AL general secretary made the remarks at the Awami League President's Dhanmondi political office in the capital on Wednesday night.
Quader also said that the meeting of the election steering committee of the Awami League will be held on 17 November at the Dhaka district Awami League office.
The sale of party nomination forms will start from Bangabandhu Avenue on the same day, he added.
