Drug addiction is a terrible disease of human society. Patuakhali district police active to eliminate drug dealers and drug addicts. In the successful operation of the district police, the drug dealers of Gaza, Yaba, Mad and Baralok were arrested.
Patuakhali district police came to praise and discuss the arrest of some drug dealers in various upazilas of Patuakhali. Only in the month of October, at least 40 drug dealers were arrested with different types of drugs in different upazilas of Patuakhali.
According to the information of Patuakhali District Superintendent of Police office, two drug dealers including Gaza in Kalapara, two drug dealers including Yaba in Patuakhali Sadar police station, two drug dealers including Yaba who have multiple pending drug cases against them, two drug dealers including Gaza and Yaba in Mahipur police station, 1 drug dealer including Yaba in Baufle, Patuakhali Four drug dealers with foreign liquor and keru and keru liquor were arrested in Sadar, three drug dealers with heroin in Patuakhali Sadar police station, three in Galachipa police station, two with ganja in Mirzaganj police station and one from Baufal police station with the most recent fatal drug ice.
In this regard, Patuakhali District Superintendent of Police Md. Saidul Islam BPM, PPM said that all units of Patuakhali District Police are working together to prevent the spread of drugs. But until it is eradicated, the challenge against drug dealers will continue.
