In protest against the open death threat to diploma engineers, demanding the resolution of professional problems in the engineering sector and rejection of the unreasonable three-point demand of degree engineers, students of Pabna Polytechnic Institute blocked the Dhaka highway in Pabna on Wednesday.
At noon, they brought out a massive protest procession from the institute campus and marched to the district’s central bus terminal. There they blocked the Dhaka highway.
Due to the blockade, countless buses, trucks, and both heavy and light vehicles were stuck on both sides of the road, causing extreme suffering to the general public and passengers.
