Over Tk 3cr seized as police raid a house in Mohammadpur

The police conducted a drive at a house in the capital’s Mohammadpur area on Friday evening and seized more than Tk3 crore in cash along with foreign currencies.
A team of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) raided the house located at Block-F on Babar Road, according to the DMP media division.
Then, the police found Tk3,01,10,166 in cash, and US dollar 3,000, Malaysian ringgit 1,320, Saudi riyal 2,969, Singapore dollar 4,122, Australian dollar 1,915, Korean yuan 35,000, and Chinese yuan 199, which are equivalent to Tk10,03,306.
Besides, the police found prize bonds worth Tk74,400.
