Orbis Flying Eye Hospital training ends in Ctg

Orbis Flying Eye Hospital has bid farewell after completing a two-week training program under the overall supervision of the Chittagong Eye Hospital and Training Center (CEITC) in Pahartali.

On Thursday evening, 50 people, including doctors, nurses, technicians and officials of Orbis, participated in a closing ceremony organized at the Imran Seminar Hall of Chittagong Eye Hospital.

CEITC Founder and Managing Trustee Professor Dr. Rabiul Hossain, Orbis Flying Eye Hospital Director Maurice Gary, Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport Director Group Captain Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Alamgir, Daily Purbukone Publisher and Managing Editor Jasim Uddin Chowdhury, Orbis International Country Director Dr. Munir Ahmed and others were present at the ceremony.

The speakers at the event praised the initiative of Orbis and urged them to continue their eye care activities in the future.

Orbis Flying Eye Hospital Director Maurice Gary praised the sincerity of the CEITC team and said that with their cooperation, it has been possible to complete a very good quality training program.

Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport Director Captain Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Alamgir welcomed such a social program and expressed hope that Orbis would come to Bangladesh again.

It is worth noting that this is the 5th visit of Orbis Flying Eye Hospital to Chittagong.
