One held with 7,000 pieces of Yaba worth Tk 35 lakh in Teknaf

The Bangladesh Coast Guard has arrested 1 drug dealer with 7,000 pieces of Yaba worth about 3.5 million taka in Teknaf, Cox's Bazar on Tuesday.
Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Sabbir Alam Sujan gave this information through a press release on Tuesday night.
The press release said that based on a secret tip-off, a special operation was conducted by Coast Guard Station Teknaf at 5 pm today, Tuesday in the area adjacent to Leda Bazar in Hnila under Teknaf Police Station, Cox's Bazar. During the operation, a suspicious easy bike was searched in the area and 7,000 pieces of Yaba worth about 3.5 million taka and 1 drug dealer was arrested along with the easy bike used for smuggling.
Further legal action against the seized Yaba, Easybike and arrested drug dealere has been taken.
The Coast Guard will continue such operations in the future to prevent drug trafficking, the presa release added.
