One arrested for sensational murder in Debiganj

Raju's estranged lover was arrested for sensational murder in Panchagarh Debiganj. Debiganj Circle Assistant Superintendent of Police Mocha Runa Laila gave this information in a press briefing at Debiganj police station at 12:30 noon on Thursday.
In a press briefing, Debiganj Circle Assistant Superintendent of Police Runa Laila said that Shahnaz's ex-lover Raju Mia killed Shahnaz by cutting her throat with a knife during the Eid prayer last Eid-ul-Fitr (April 11) when she refused to have an affair. Before this, if the matter of alienation was known, local arbitration was done several times. Later Shahnaz's husband Majid went to Dhaka with Shahnaz and her two children for livelihood and came to the village house to celebrate Eid the day before the incident.
The Assistant Superintendent of Police also said that Shahnaz Parveen's husband Abdul Majeed filed a murder case at Debiganj police station the day after the incident (April 12). Sub-Inspector Kamal Uddin of Debiganj police station confirmed the location of Raju Mia with the help of IT while she was absconding since the incident. Yesterday Wednesday (May 1) he was arrested from Kalihati Bazar bus stand area of Tangail with the help of Kalihati police station.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Runa Laila also said, In preliminary interrogation, Raju confessed to stabbing Shahnaz to death. Raju Mia was sent to the learned court on Thursday.
Debiganj OC Sarkar Iftekharul Mokaddem, Sub-Inspector Kamal Uddin were also present at the press briefing.
