Old man killed by train while walking along railway line at Gafargaon

An old man died after being hit by a train in Gafargaon, Mymensingh.
The accident took place while walking along side the railway line in Dhamail Dhalibari area of Saltia Union of Upazila on Thursday (May 25).
The name of the dead old man is Shukkur Ali (65). He is a resident of Dhamail village.
According to local sources and the deceased's family, the deceased Sukkur Ali Dhamail was walking along the railway line in Dhalibari area around 8 am on Thursday.
At that time, Sukkur Ali was hit by the Mymensingh-bound Balaka commuter train leaving Dhaka and died on the spot. Later locals recovered his body.
Gafargaon railway station GRP sub-inspector Haran Or Rashid said that the relatives of the deceased took the body from the spot through local public representatives.
