NY Bangladesh Consulate General introduces credit card payment

The Consulate General of Bangladesh in New York has introduced a new option for payment of all consular fees via credit card, enhancing service transparency, accountability, and user-friendliness.
The initiative, which commenced on Tuesday, aims to modernize and streamline consular services, according to a press release received here today.
However, it should be noted that a 3 percent bank surcharge will be applied to each transaction made through credit card for any government-determined fees.
Additionally, the existing system for paying fees through money orders will remain in place, providing flexibility for service recipients.
The Consulate General has encouraged all service users to take advantage of this new facility for paying government fees conveniently with credit cards.
