None passed in Darul Falah Girls' Madrasa in Begumganj

Four students from Darul Falah Girls' Madrasa in Begumganj, Noakhali, participated in the entrance exam this year, but none of them passed. For a long time, the institution has practically become defunct due to the arbitrariness, irregularities and lack of a learning-friendly environment of the madrasa's head Maulana Imam Hossain.
According to local sources, there are currently 15 teachers in Darul Falah Girls' Madrasa, of which 11 are male and 4 are female teachers. Although the number of teachers is relatively high, the number of students has been consistently decreasing.
Local resident Mizanur Rahman said, there are teachers in the madrasa, but there are no students. What is the need for such a madrasa? It is a matter of shame for our area. The head Maulana Imam Hossain is responsible for such poor results of the madrasa. He is the king of corruption. There are only irregularities in him. He also demanded action against him.
When contacted to inquire about this, the head of the madrasa, Maulana Imam Hossain told The Country Today that the institution is being run by renting another place because BNP's Motaleb Gangra forcibly locked the madrasa campus. Maulana Badruddoza, chairman and principal of Darul Falah Foundation Bangladesh Waqf Estate, said that Superintendent Maulana Imam Hossain has a long-standing dispute with the landowners and former teachers of the madrasa. Due to government mob justice, Begumganj UNO is not paying his salary illegally by taking the signature of the superintendent every month. Due to which they had to shift the madrasa to a new land.
Another local resident named Motaleb, a retired government official, said that the environment of the madrasa is deteriorating day by day due to the sole authority of the madrasa head, arbitrariness in appointments and financial management. The number of students has decreased due to the head's conflict with local dignitaries and the reluctance of the guardians. The Upazila Social Service Officer is investigating him.
In this regard, Begumganj Upazila Secondary Education Officer Mohammad Zahirul Islam said, we are aware of the matter. However, we are disappointed with this year's results of Darul Falah Girls' Madrasa. The matter will be investigated and necessary action will be taken. Such results of any educational institution are never acceptable. Begumganj Upazila Executive Officer Arifur Rahman said that Super Imam Hossain is a corrupt person, that is why his salary has been withheld.
Super Imam Hossain said that the UNO, who was transferred to this upazila during the former fascist government, took over this madrasa with the blessings of a particular political party and withheld my salary as they said. I demand justice for this heinous incident.
