No corruption will be tolerated in any sector, including canal excavation: Abdul Bari

State Minister for Public Administration, Abdul Bari, has stated that the Prime Minister is ensuring transparency across all sectors.
He emphasized that transparency will be maintained in every aspect and no form of corruption, including in canal excavation projects, will be tolerated.
He made these remarks on Monday afternoon after inaugurating the excavation and re-excavation work of approximately 15.5 kilometers of canals in the Murail Bhabki area of Kalai Upazila, Joypurhat.
The event was attended by Deputy Commissioner Al Mamun Mia, Superintendent of Police Mina Mahmuda, newly appointed District Council Administrator Masud Rana Pradhan, Executive Engineer of Joypurhat Water Development Board Riyadul Islam, District BNP Convener Golzar Hossain, and Kalai Upazila Executive Officer Shamim Ara, along with various other officials and leaders.
Under the nationwide program for the excavation and re-excavation of rivers, canals, and water bodies, a budget of 3 crore BDT has been allocated for the re-excavation of four canals totaling 15.31 kilometers in Joypurhat, supervised by the Water Development Board.
Later, the State Minister attended a discussion meeting at the Kathail Gopinathpur School grounds.
