Talented doctors will not limit their lives to self-centered careers, they will play a role in healthcare as well as social change.

For this, the National Doctors Forum (NDF) is working to produce competent and ethical doctors. The speakers said these things at the Barisal Divisional Medical Conference-2024 at Barisal District Art Academy Auditorium on Wednesday afternoon.

Speakers said, it is not possible to change the world by keeping our thinking and consciousness consumerist. To change this society, state and the world, we need to change our thinking. Doctors should possess ideal Islamic qualities. All doctors will spread light in the society through their conduct. The invited guests also said that the National Doctors Forum will conduct multifaceted activities.

The central vice-president of the National Doctors' Forum is Professor Dr. Vir Muktijodha. Advocate Muazzam Hossain Helal, assistant secretary general of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, was the chief guest in the conference chaired by Altaf Uddin Ahmed.

The special guest was the central senior vice president of NDF. AKM Wali Ullah, Jamaat-e-Islami Barisal Metropolitan Ameer Maulana Zahir Uddin Muhammad Babar, Honorable Guest Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council Member Prof. Dr. Aziz Rahim, Distinguished Guest NDF Vice President Dr. Md. Atiyar Rahman. Dr. Zahirul Islam, Dr. Zahir Uddin Babar and Dr. Md. Mokhtar Ali also spoke.

The program was conducted by Barisal District General Secretary of NDF, Dr. Dr. KM Zahidul Islam. Amir Sultanul Arefin of Barishal Professional Police Station branch of Jamaat-e-Islami led the prayers after the ceremony.
