NDC delegation visits BARI

A 105-member delegation from the National Defence College (NDC), Mirpur Cantonment, Dhaka, visited the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) on Wednesday. The delegation included faculty members, course participants, and military officers.
The delegation was received at the entrance of the Kazi Badruddoza Auditorium by BARI Director General Dr. Md. Manjurul Kadir, along with other directors of the institute.
A discussion session was held at the Kazi Badruddoza Auditorium, where BARI's Director (Research), Dr. Faruk Ahmed, delivered a multimedia presentation highlighting the institute's research activities, innovative technologies and recent achievements.
Among those present were Director (Service and Supply) Dr. Md. Mosharraf Hossain Molla, Director (Training and Communication) Dr. Reshma Sultana, Director (Planning and Evaluation Wing) Dr. Habib Mohammad Naser, Director of the Tuber Crops Research Centre Dr. Nirmal Kumar Dutta, along with senior scientists from various research centers, divisions, and branches of BARI.
During the visit, they were briefed on the institute's research programs, agricultural innovations, and its significant role in advancing Bangladesh's agricultural sector.
The delegation highly appreciated BARI's ongoing research, innovative initiatives, and outstanding contributions to agricultural development.
