National Local Government Day celebrated in Rangamati

National Local Government Day-2023 was celebrated in Rangamati through various arrangements.
On the occasion of the day, a colourful procession was organized by the district administration on Sunday (September 17) morning, starting from the front of the District Commissioner's office, going around the main main road of the city and ending at Gymnasium Chhattar.
After the procession, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Khan inaugurated the 3-day development fair at Kumar Sumit Roy Gymnasium. Development activities of various government departments are displayed in the fair.
After the inauguration of the fair, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Khan presided over the discussion meeting among others Rangamati Municipality Mayor Akbar Hossain Chowdhury, Bir Muktijodha Iqbal Hossain Chowdhury, Additional District Magistrate Md. Abdullah Al Mahmud, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md. Jahedul Islam, LGED Rangamati District Senior Assistant Engineer Jugal Krishna Mandal and others were present.
