National Fruit Fair inaugurated in Porsha

The three-day National Fruit Fair/25 has been inaugurated in Porsha, Naogaon. “Eat more local fruits, let's plant fruit trees” organized by the Upazila Agriculture Office on Thursday at the Upazila Parishad Hallroom.
UNO Md. Arif Adnan inaugurated the Fair as the chief guest. Agriculture Officer Krishibid Mamunur Rashid presided over and delivered the welcome speech.
Agriculture Extension Officer Shahin Akhtar, Primary Education Officer Sajjad Hossain, Social Service Officer Shahidul Islam, along with officials and more than fifty mango farmers were present.
Later, the Upazila Executive Officer visited the fruit stalls and encouraged everyone present, including the mango farmers, to plant more fruit trees. At this time, the agriculture officer said that this fruit fair will be held from June 19 to June 21 and they are working to make this upazila prosperous with fruits.
