National Cooperative Day celebrated in Rangpur

The 52nd National Cooperative Day was celebrated in Rangpur on Saturday, with the slogan "Somobaye Gorchhi Desh, Smart Hobe Bangladesh".
On this occasion, in the morning a procession was organized by the cooperative department front of Rangpur District Commissioner's office and circled the main road of the city. At the end, a discussion meeting and prize distribution was held at Rangpur Town Hall Auditorium.
Rangpur Divisional Commissioner Habibur Rahman was present as the chief guest in the discussion meeting. Special guests were Additional Divisional Commissioner Abu Zafar, Additional Range DIG of Police Pankaj Chandra Roy, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mobasher Hasan, Additional Superintendent of Police Tariqul Islam, Additional Deputy Commissioner Abdul Mannan, Rangpur Central Cooperative Bank Limited President Tushar Kanti Mandal and others. Co-operative Bank Joint Registrar Mrinal Kanti Biswas presided over it.
In the event, awards were distributed among 16 committees based on the successful work of the cooperatives.
