Mymensingh and Sunamganj get new DCs

The government has appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs) to Mymensingh and Sunamganj.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification on Saturday after transferring the existing DCs of the two districts.
The transfers were made as per the directive of the Election Commission ahead of the 12th National Parliament Election.
DC of Mymensingh Mostafizur Rahman has been transferred as the deputy secretary of the Health Service Division, while DC of Sunamganj Didar-E-Alam Mohammed Maksud was transferred to Mymensingh, where he will serve as the new DC.
