Muhith's 2nd death anniversary observed in Sylhet

The 2nd death anniversary of ex Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith was observed today in the town here in a befitting manner.
Various political and social organizations including Sylhet Awami League paid tribute to Abul Maal Abdul Muhith. They offered Fateha at his grave and took part in a munajat for blessings of the departed soul.
A Milad and a Doa Mahfil was also organized on behalf of his family in the afternoon at Hafij Complex in the town.
Sylhet Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Ashfaq Ahmed, Principal Sujat Ali Rafiq, General Secretary of Sylhet Zila Kira Sangstha Mahi Uddin Ahmed Selim, General Secretary of Sylhet Red Crescent Society Abdur Rahman Jamil and President of Sylhet Metropolitan Chamber Abdul Jabbar Jalil were present, among others, at the Doa Mahfil.
Muhith was born in 1934 and died on April 30, 2022.
