Moulvibazar Women’s Football Tournament held

With the slogan “Let’s Change the Country, Let’s Change the World,” marking the celebration of Tarunner Utsab 25 aimed at building a new Bangladesh, a women’s football tournament was held in Moulvibazar under the arrangement of the District Sports Office on Wednesday.
The Tarunner Utsab Women’s Football Tournament was held at the Moulvibazar Saifur Rahman Stadium. In the final of the tournament, the Green Team defeated the Red Team by a margin of 2–0 goals to achieve the honor of becoming champions.
After the conclusion of the Tarunner Utsab Women’s Football Tournament, prizes and trophies were distributed to the champion and runner-up teams by the District Sports Office, Moulvibazar. The prize-giving ceremony was held under the chairmanship of District Sports Officer Md. Mazharul Majid, with the Deputy Commissioner Touhiduzzaman Pavel present as the chief guest. Special guests included Vice President of the District Football Association Raihan Ahmed, former Joint General Secretary of the District Sports Association Mahbub Izdani Imran, members of the District Sports Association Imamul Haque Ripon, Fahad Alam, Tawhid Ahmed Tarek, General Secretary of the District Referees Association Md. Mahmudur Rahman, renowned sports personality Golam Morshed, and Director of Bhairabganj Football Academy Saleh Ahmed. Also present were Kamal Adhikari of the District Sports Office along with sports enthusiasts of the district.
