MoU signed between DU and ICAB

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Dhaka University Banking and Insurance Department and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) on Sunday with the aim of promoting CA education and research in the country and creating skilled human resources in this regard.
Dhaka University Treasurer Professor Mumtaz Uddin Ahmed and ICAB President Mohammad Forkan Uddin FCA signed this MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.
Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Professor Dr. Sitesh Chandra Bachar was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
Dhaka University Banking and Insurance Department Chairperson Professor Dr. Hasina Sheikh, CEO of ICAB Shubashis Bose FCA, Vice-President MBM Lutful Hadi FCA, Vice-President Maria Howladar FCA and Director of BBA Program of Dhaka University Banking and Insurance Department Professor Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam spoke on the occasion.
Under this MoU, the students of Dhaka University Banking and Insurance department will get admission in Institute of Chartered Accountants while studying BBA. 3 courses will be waived for the students of Banking and Insurance department in case of studying CA.
