Motorcyclist killed in road accident in Shyamnagar

A motorcyclist named Abdul Karim Sheikh (26) was killed in a road accident in Shyamnagar Satkhira. The accident took place on Thursday (May 23) around 8 am at Haybatpur intersection of upazila Sadar. He is the son of Mohammad Ali Sheikh of Dadpur village.
Eyewitness Moshiar Rahman said that while going to Vetkhali of Shyamnagar upazila with passengers on rent, the motorcyclist was seriously injured on the spot when a dumper filled with sand came from the opposite side. Sakir Hossain, a doctor on duty in the emergency department, declared him dead when he was quickly rescued and brought to the Shyamnagar Upazila Health Complex.
Shyamnagar police station OC Md Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the truth of the incident and said that the dumper filled with sand along with the driver Akram Hossain has been detained. A case has been filed in the police station
