Motorcyclist killed in bus collision in Munshiganj

One motorcyclist was killed and his friend seriously injured after their motorcycle was hit by a bus on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Gazaria, Munshiganj.
The accident occurred last Monday at 12:30 PM at the Tetoitola Haans Point area of Gazaria. The deceased, Mohammad Yasin (32), was a resident of Amoir Bottola village in Dhamgar Union, Bandar Upazila, Narayanganj. His injured friend, Faisal Hossain (33), is the son of Amir Hossain from Dhakeshwari village in Sonargaon Upazila.
Eyewitnesses reported that the two friends were traveling from Monpura, Narayanganj, towards Cumilla by motorcycle. Along the way, a Chittagong-bound bus forcefully hit their motorcycle at the Tetoitola Haans Point area. Both were severely injured. Locals then rescued them and took them to the nearby Hamdard General Hospital. According to hospital sources, the injured were brought to the hospital at 12:45 PM. The on-duty doctor declared Mohammad Yasin dead. Due to Faisal's critical condition, he has been transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Md. Shawkat Hossain, In-charge of Gazaria Bhaberchar Highway Police Outpost, stated that the victim's body has been handed over to his relatives. The killer bus has been seized, and legal action is underway regarding the incident.
