Morshed Alam appointed new SP of Faridpur

Mohammad Morshed Alam has been appointed Superintendent of Police (SP) in Faridpur.
He was serving as deputy police commissioner in the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
At the same time, Faridpur SP Md. Shahjahan was transferred to DMP. He will serve as deputy police commissioner in the DMP.
The transfer order was issued by deputy secretary of the Election Commission, Md Mizanur Rahman, on Tuesday.
The decision to transfer was made with a view to holding the 12th general in a free and fair manner.
