
Monthly welfare meeting of Sherpur District Police held

The monthly welfare meeting of Sherpur District Police was held at the Multipurpose shed of Police Lines on Sunday at the initiative of the District Police.
At the beginning of the welfare meeting, chaired by Superintendent of Police Aminul Islam, the problems proposed in the previous meeting for the welfare of all police members of the district and the implementation of the decisions taken in view of the applications of police members were reviewed.
Later, decisions were taken in view of the applications of the current month for the welfare of various problems of police members. In the meeting, police members of various ranks of the district police presented their various advantages and disadvantages to the Superintendent of Police. Superintendent of Police Aminul Islam listened to them attentively and, in addition to taking immediate decisions to solve the problems, gave instructions to the concerned officers to solve the problems through constructive discussions and urged all those present to perform their duties professionally.
At the welfare meeting, 16 police members of various ranks and 3 civil staff of the district police who were recently sent to PRL were given retirement farewell ceremonies along with crests and gifts.
At this time, Additional Superintendent of Police (Admin and Finance) Md. Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Shah Shibli Sadiq, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md. Abdul Karim, Officers-in-Charge of all police stations, Inspectors (Investigation) along with police officers and civil staff from all outposts, investigation centers, traffic, courts and police stations of the district were present.
