Barguna Correspondent

In the anti-discrimination student movement, Mobashwera Karim Mimi, a child of Barguna district, led the students as the central coordinator and gained success through the day and night movement program despite being injured on the road to collect the money.

So among all coordinators, Mobashwera Karim Mimi is the pride of our Barguna, the pride of the whole country. She is the daughter of former Deputy Commissioner Nazir Md. Masood Karim and musician Khadija Akhter Munni, a resident of College Road area of Barguna town. Among their three daughters, Mobashwera Karim Mimi Mezo is a daughter.

According to various media and press releases, yesterday in the decision meeting to form the interim government at Bangabhaban under the chairmanship of President Md Sahabuddin, army chief, navy chief, air force chief and leaders of various political parties and representatives of civil society and five coordinators of anti-discrimination student movement Abdullah Al Hossain, Arif Talukdar, Omar Farooq and Mobashwera Karim Mimi and Engineer Md. Anichur Rahman. Among the four male and female student coordinators, Mobaswera Karim Mimi, a native of Barguna, was present as the only female coordinator.

It is known that Mobaswera Karim Mimi obtained PSC GPA 5 from Sunbeam Kindergarten School, Barguna, passed 6th to 8th standard from Barguna Government Girls High School in 2013, passed SSC from Dhanmondi Government Girls High School in 2016-17, in 2018-19 Passed out from Bir Shrestha Noor Mohammad Public College, 2022 student of American International University Bangladesh (AIUB) Bachelor of 'Law' Department in 6th semester of Law Department.

Thinking about the current situation of the country and the meritorious students, Sadabhad along with other coordinators took to the streets from Dhaka Sahabag on July 15 to lead the anti-discrimination student movement.

After that, he continuously participated in the movement program at Shaheed Minar on July 16, while leading the movement on July 17, he was seriously injured in the left hand, chest and leg in the baton charge of the Chhatra League. One day later, he again attended the movement program while injured on July 19 and 20. 25 In July, he was again injured in a clash in the movement and was receiving medical treatment.

On July 30, he appeared in the Rajpath movement. Kuril Bishwaroad protested on August 2. He was injured and threatened to kill several times, but could not stop him. Lakhs of students, parents and all classes of professionals came down to the streets under the leadership of all the coordinators. Hundreds of students and ordinary people were killed by police, Chhatra League, Jubo League and Awami League shooting and torture in this movement. Many people died on the spot and at different places including hospitals. And many families have not found the bodies yet.

Students and parents can not pass such a brutal time! On August 4, the students held a huge program at the Shaheed Minar, Shaheed Minar, ignoring all obstacles. When the Long March was called on 5th August, all the professional people got angry and occupied the purpose of occupying the Ganobhaban and Sangsad Bhavan, but before that, Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Rehena escaped from the Ganobhaban by helicopter and left the country.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh has achieved meaningful and successful independence in exchange for the blood of hundreds of students and in exchange for the suffering and sacrifice of all the coordinators including Mobashwera Karim Mimi. All the professional people of the district and upazila level, including the country's capital Dhaka, rejoiced.

Mobashwera Karim Mimi's father Masud Karim said, I am a proud father today! He has great passion for education. By risking my life for the country, I am a government employee, so without informing me and standing against injustice, the anti-discrimination student movement has led from the streets! I came to know yesterday when the president and army chief my daughter along with other coordinators were invited along with parents to the interim government formation meeting at Bangabhaban. Since then, the army has kept our family safe. But there was a lot of risk to our daughter and family which has now calmed down a lot.

Mobashwera Karim Mimi, the student coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement, said, "Even though I am the grandson of a freedom fighter, all the coordinators and all the students took to the streets with fair rights." Although the workers of Jubo League and Chhatra League repeatedly threatened to remove me, I did not give up on leading. Hundreds of my brothers and sisters gave their lives to get the chest! In such a situation, you can't walk back because of fear, I was always on the road according to our program with my mind clear. Even if life is gone, it would be worthwhile today! Maybe I could not see it! I could see that Hayat was there. And the student society has shown how to fight against injustice by risking our lives in exchange for the blood of our brothers.

Where can I get my brothers and sisters? May all my martyred brothers and sisters be well. I express endless love and gratitude to my classmates, colleagues, comrades, parents, brothers and sisters, Barguna Basi for being a daughter of Barguna and leading shoulder to shoulder with other coordinators in the center to achieve freedom. Please pray for me so that I can always stand against injustice.
