Mizanur Rahman Azhari calls for special tribunal against rape

Renowned Islamic Scholar Dr. Mizanur Rahman Azhari has called for the formation of a special tribunal and strict enforcement of laws against rape.
He made the comments in a post on his verified facebook page on Sunday morning.
In the post, Azhari wrote, "A speechless Bangladesh! The entire nation is in shock! Where is the security for women in this country? Who will ensure their protection? It is the state's responsibility to establish a special tribunal against rape, enforce strict laws, and ensure justice. The lack of justice emboldens criminals."
He further said, "When the country's legal and judicial system becomes criminal-friendly, predators dare to commit rape. They always remain beyond reach, using power and legal loopholes to their advantage."
Azhari emphasized, "If exemplary punishment is not ensured, such incidents will keep happening repeatedly. The nation demands unprecedented punishment for rapists."
