Miscreants beat up 70-yr -old man, broke both hands in Bhuapur

A 70-year-old man named Naib Ali of Rajapur village of Bhuapur upazila of Tangal was beaten and his two hands were broken by some local influential miscreants on Saturday.

It is learnt that due to a land dispute, 3/4 miscreants including Dulal son of Taleb Mandal of the same village, Jewel son of Abdur Gafur, Al Amin son of Nishan Sheikh found themselves alone near the Kuthiboyra market of the upazila in the early hours of the morning.

He was ambushed and left with serious injuries in different parts of his body including two broken hands. Local people rescued him with serious injuries and took him to Bhuyapur Hospital.

If his condition worsened there, he was sent to Tangail Sheikh Hasina Medical College Hospital. It is known that there has been a dispute over land between the two parties for a long time. As a result, this attack happened on Saturday.

Abdul Alim, a relative of the injured, said that preparations are underway to file a case in Tangail Court in this regard.
