Mirzaganj Upazila Students Forum Dhaka's Iftar and Doa Mahfil was held today, Wednesday (March 19) at the Sirajul Islam Lecture Hall of Dhaka University.

The event was attended by Additional Secretary of the Local Government Department and Administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation Md. Shahjahan Mia, DIG of Bangladesh Police Ruhul Amin Shipar, Director of ACI Group Krishibid Bashir Ahmed, Director of Red Crescent Society Zafar Imam Sikder, former teacher of Subidkhali Government College Advocate Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Supreme Court lawyer Advocate Abdus Salam, Advocate Moniruzzaman, Supreme Court lawyer and Students' Forum advisor Advocate Abu Taleb, Swechchhasebak Dal's central business affairs secretary and organization advisor Advocate Khalilur Rahman, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University's dental department assistant professor Dr. Asaduzzaman Sarwar, Dhaka College's economics department assistant professor and organization advisor Md. Mahmudul Hasan Sabuj, Assistant Senior Secretary Md. Mosharef Hossain Milu, Dr. Tanjimul Islam, film actor Ivan Sair, Dhaka-based Mirzaganj Journalists Forum President Md. Aminul Islam, General Secretary Md. Asadusjaman (Shajib), former publicity and publication editor of Dhaka Reporters Unity Sushant Saha, among others.

In addition, current and former committee members of the organization and hundreds of students from Mirzaganj studying in various educational institutions in Dhaka participated.

In their speeches, the guests emphasized the importance of students working together from their respective positions, regardless of party affiliation, to solve the problems and development of the area, in addition to their studies.

The program began at 5 pm with the recitation of the Holy Quran and ended with the distribution of Iftar under the chairmanship of the organization's president, Dr. Mehedi Hasan Sajeeb, and moderated by General Secretary Majidur Rahman Saikat.
