Minu files case against Liton for attacking house 5 years ago in Rajshahi

About five years ago, there was an attack on the house of BNP Chairperson's Adviser Mizanur Rahman Minu .
A case has been filed in the name of Awami League Presidium Member and former city mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton for that attack.
Mohammad Alauddin, the caretaker of Rajshahi Sadar-2 Constituency and former city mayor Mizanur Rahman Minur's house, filed the case at Chandrima Police Station as the plaintiff.
OC of Rajshahi's Chandrima Police Station Ismail Hossain confirmed the filing of the case on Wednesday afternoon but all the accused are absconding. After the investigation, legal action will be taken in this regard. The police officer also said that an operation will be started to arrest the accused.
Meanwhile, 22 other people have been mentioned as defendants in that case except Khairuzzaman Liton. Besides, 50-60 more people have been made unknown accused.
In the statement of the filed case, it is said that on the day and night of the incident, 4-5 cocktails were exploded in front of the house. After that, the ground floor of the house was vandalized . But at that time due to political influence, a case could not be filed in their name.
Rajshahi Nagar Awami League general secretary Dablu Sarkar and former city corporation councilor Aktaruzzaman Koyel are among the defendants in the case.
The statement also mentioned that the house of BNP leader Mizanur Rahman Minu in Bhadra residential area was attacked on December 10, 2018 on the orders of Awami League leader Liton and Dablu Sarkar and under the leadership of Koyel.
