Minhaz Foysol a well-known name in the cultural field of Sylhet area. Now this time he is an famous storyteller and playwright in greater Sylhet region. His youth is combination of dreams, enthusiasm and honesty. Hundreds of dreams play in his eyes. He is looking for something new every day, trying to make it true in his continuous journey.

He always lives in harmony with new words, new thoughts. He is roaming freely in the arena of story, poems, rhymes and everywhere. He writes for both children and elders. His full name is MD. Minhazur Rahman Foysol. But he is known to everyone as Minhaz Foysol. His father is AD. Abdur Roauf and mother is Rokeya Begum.
Minhaz Foysol is a son of marshy land Sunamganj. After completing his graduation and post graduation, he is currently working in a private company.

He authored 12 books till the date. His story books for children are - Moshadr Meeting, Bullet Buka Golap Phaki and Magic Sir.The book of his unique story Ei Shohorer Shuke, Jhotihin Bhalobasha, Manush Hashte Jane. His Rhymes books are Chadar Buri, Roder Danai Phoring Nache, Phakira Shob Phaka Chai, Apni Tumi Tui, Pukur Jole Chader Khela. Poetry book is Shobdo Diye Aka Abeg.

Minhaz Foysol is also a well-known name in the cultural field of Sylhet. He has been working on stage since his school life. He has gained immense popularity from the viewers by acting in "Green Bangla", one of the leading drama groups in Sylhet region.

He has been acted in many plays. Among them notable dramas are- Tamasha, Gurunti, Akjon Abid ar Golpo, Je Bibade Shoytan Hashe, Cour, Minister Palace, Friends Mahal, Disturb, Patineta, Motku Commissioner, WiFi Sir, Calcutta Karim, Prem Bonam Biye, Amr kouab ,Lash Loia Bepoda Rokte khana Vhumi, Amr File Na, Uli, Target, Talabi Latif, Nat Boltu, Mita shutru, Fishla Musulli etc.

He has been the editor of little magazine The Ant (Pipra) by which he inspires young writers. This literary magazine is published from Sylhet and already got appreciation in literary circles.
The young writer has achieved various awards in recognition of his work. These include the Central Muslim Sahitya Sangsad Young Writer's Literary Medal, the Dhalpatra Medal and the Literature Exploration Literary Award etcetera.

When asked, "how long does Minhaz Foysol want to go? " He replies with a smile, " Want to go, where I will meet my dreams."
