Mehazabien’s ‘Priyo Maloti’ on 20 Dec

Mehazabien has played the title role in the film. The audience will see her as a lower-middle-class fighter woman in the Shankh Dasgupta-directed film.
The movie is jointly produced by “Frame per Second” and the OTT platform Chorki. The OTT platform has officially announced the release date of the film recently. Mehazabien is making her debut in the country’s theaters for the first time in her 15-year acting career. On 12 December, she wrote on her verified Facebook page, “I will meet my audience in the theaters with Priyo Maloti.”
Earlier, she had said that, the audience is always with her. The viewers have accepted and loved almost all the stories and characters of the actor. Only because of their love, she has come to this position. And she believes that the audience will also come to the theatres to watch her films.
In the meantime, the film has been screened at the Cairo International Film Festival and the International Film Festival of India.
Besides Mehazabien Chowdhury, other cast of the film includes Nader Chowdhury, Azad Abul Kalam, Shahjahan Samrat and Rizvi Riju.
