Mayoral candidate sacrifices 27 cows in Panchbibi for. needy people

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Shamim Hossain, mayoral candidate of Panchbibi Municipality and former organizing secretary of the district Chhatra Dal, slaughtered 27 cows and distributed the meat of the sacrifice to 3,200 helpless and destitute people in Panchbibi, Joypurhat. A sense of relief and joy can be seen among the beneficiaries of this humanitarian initiative.
The sacrificial meat was distributed at the Master Mind School premises in Panchbibi Sadar on Friday (May 29) afternoon. Thirty butchers worked from 2 am to 12 noon to slaughter 27 cows and prepare the meat.
Many said that they were unable to offer sacrifices this time due to lack of resources. At a time when this assistance has fulfilled their Eid joy to some extent.
Shamim Hossain, a mayoral candidate for Panchbibi Municipality and former leader of the district Chhatra Dal, said that his main goal is to bring smiles to the faces of the helpless people of the society. He organized this event with the thought that everyone can share the joy of sacrifice.
Former Upazila Jubo Dal president Lecturer Shamsul Huda Mandal Dulal and former Municipal Jubo Dal senior vice-president Harunur Rashid Sajal were present at the time.
