Massive corruption against of PD Azad of Matarbari Coal Power Project alleged

Cox's Bazar Maheshkhali Matarbari Coal- Based Power Project is one of the largest mega projects of the country.
Project Director Abul Kalam Azad has created a paradise state of irregularity and corruption by different syndicates under the single power of Azad.
In four cases of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), allegations of around one and a half hundred crore taka have been made against a syndicate of 21 people including PD Abul Kalam, 6 officials and local MP. Another syndicate led by project director Abul Kalam Azad and security officer Alfaz.
For a long time, the syndicate stole various goods including the screws of the project and was caught by law enforcers several times, but others escaped under the power of PD Abul Kalam Azad. Goods worth hundreds of millions of rupees were not caught in this way. This has been confirmed by an intelligence agency. Cables worth about 15 crore rupees were caught under their watch. Navy patrol team arrested 6 people while smuggling cables worth around 15 crore rupees in three containers.
They were detained along with the goods while being taken on board a barge at Matarbari deep sea port around 11 am on Saturday 31 August. Navy officer Lt. Minhaj confirmed the matter. The names of Rati Maharati came out in the confession of the arrested. On realizing the matter, PD Abul Kalam Azad and security officer Alfaz, who were inside the project, escaped from the project, according to Navy sources.
The arrested are Nizam Uddin, son of Ebadul Haque, a resident of Chittagong Bhatiari area working for Iqbal Marine, Md Salim, son of Nurul Islam of Chittagong Sitakund area, Zakir Hossain, son of Abdur Razzak, Md Farooq, son of Mujibul Haque of Feni Chagalnaia upazila, Nurul Haque, resident of Feni Sonagazi upazila, Maheshkhali of Matarbari area. Md. Chagir's son Mahmudul Haque and Noakhali Companyganj area resident Md. Kamal.
They have also given information that Coal Power Project Director Abul Kalam Azad, Security Officer Alfaz Uddin, Chief Engineer Md Saifur Rahman are directly involved in this incident.
In addition, allegations have been made that Mizanur Rahman and Md. Asif, the sub-contractors of the Matarbari Coal Power Project, POSCO Company, syndicated with some of the drivers of the company and sold cars through commission trade and embezzled lakhs of rupees.
Navy officer Lt. Minhaj said that an operation was conducted in the Matarbari port area around 11 am on Saturday after receiving information about the smuggling of government goods from secret sources. 3 containers full of cables were recovered. They are reported to be smuggled by sea last night. It may be noted that two of the three containers were lifted on a barge called Barge Jihad (Reg. No. 40470, BS Nahar Building, 3rd Floor, Stand Road, Majhir Ghat, Chittagong) for lifting the container by crane, while the rest was caught when the Navy's expeditionary team appeared there. An official of Coal Power said, when a power project company takes any goods owned by them out of the project, Coal Power first investigates whether the goods belong to Coal Power. Cole Power grants exit permission only if not Cole Power. But in this case the cables have gone outside the project but Cole Power says they don't know anything. But the cables have been loaded from the security house of Coal Power. However, the signature of 6 people is required to remove any goods from the project area. But these goods were removed from the project area under the guidance of PD Abul Kalam Azad and security officer Alfaz, said reliable sources.
The most interesting thing is that in the name of the company issued, the owner of Iqbal Mariner in Chittagong is said to be the nephew of PD Abul Kalam Azad.
