
Maryam Noor Charity Medical Center fined Tk 1 lakh for providing medical services without approval in Boalkhali

A mobile court has fined Tk 1 lakh to an organization named Maryam Noor Charity Medical Center for providing medical services without approval and registration in Boalkhali.
On Monday (afternoon), UNO Mohammad Rahmat Ullah conducted a raid on the organization on the second floor of the Residence Building in the area adjacent to Oli Bakery in the upazila.
Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Jafrin Jahed Jiti and Boalkhali Police Station OC Md. Lutfur Rahman were present at the time.
According to sources, a mobile court conducted a fine of 1 lakh taka to Rokeya Begum (48) for providing medical services to pregnant women without authorization and registration, writing medicines on prescriptions, etc. at an institution called Maryam Noor Charity Medical Center on the second floor of Boalkhali Residence Building.
UNO Mohammad Rahmat Ullah said, a fine of 1 lakh taka has been imposed for providing medical services without registration and the institution has been ordered to refrain from providing all types of treatment until permission is obtained.

A mobile court has fined an organization called Maryam Noor Charity Medical Center Tk 100,000 for providing treatment without approval and registration in Boalkhali.
On Monday (August 25) afternoon, Upazila Executive Officer and Enforcement Magistrate Mohammad Rahmat Ullah conducted a raid on the establishment on the second floor of the Residence Building, adjacent to Oli Bakery in the upazila.
Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Zafarin Zahed Jiti and Boalkhali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Lutfur Rahman were present at the time.
According to sources, a mobile court was conducted and a fine of Tk 1 lakh was imposed on Rokeya Begum (48) for providing medical services to pregnant women without authorization and registration, writing medicines on prescriptions, etc. at an institution called Maryam Noor Charitable Medical Center on the second floor of Boalkhali Residence Building.
Upazila Executive Officer Mohammad Rahmat Ullah said that the institution has been fined one lakh taka for providing unregistered medical services and has been ordered to refrain from providing all types of treatment until permission is obtained.
