Martyr Intellectuals Day observed in Boalkhali

Martyr intellectual day has been observed in Boalkhali with due dignity. On this occasion, a discussion meeting organized by the upazila administration was held.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Himadri Khisa presided over the meeting organized at the Upazila Parishad conference room at 11 am on Saturday.
Assistant Commissioner (Land) Kaniz Fatema, brave freedom fighter Saratchandra Barua, upazila livestock officer Dr. Rumon Talukder, Agriculture Officer. Atiq Ullah, Secondary Education Officer Salma Islam, Ansar VDP Officer Sahidul Islam, Rural Development Officer (BRDB) Zahir Uddin Bhuiyan and others.
In the meeting, UNO Himadri Khisa said that on December 14, 1971, the Pakistani invasion forces planned to kill intellectuals and make this country empty of talent. Martyred intellectuals will be our inspiration. The freedom of this country must be protected at any cost.
At the beginning of the meeting, 1 minute silence was observed in memory of the martyred intellectuals.
On this day, candles were lit in memory of the martyred intellectuals at Kadhurkhil slaughterhouse and West Shakpura slaughterhouse of the upazila. Besides, special prayers, prayers and prayers were held in the religious institutions of the upazila and discussion meetings were held in the educational institutions.
