Martyr's Day and International Mother Language Day celebrated in Kishoreganj

Great Martyr's Day and International Mother Language Day have been celebrated in Kishoreganj of Nilphamari with due dignity, respect and various programs.
Various educational institutions and organizations including the upazila administration paid tribute to the language martyrs.
On the occasion of the day, discussion meeting, distribution of awards and cultural programs were held.
The program was organized by the upazila administration on Wednesday (February 21) at 11 am in the upazila parishad hall.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) MM Ashiq Raza spoke in the chair, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Sanjida Rahman, Upazila Awami League President Freedom Fighter Zakir Hossain Babul, Social Service Officer Zakir Hossain, Agriculture Officer Lokman Hossain, Primary Education Officer Noor Mohammad, Police Station Officer In-charge (OC) Palash Chandra Mandal and brave freedom fighter Abdul Gani.
Cultural programmes and prizes were distributed after the discussion. On the occasion of the day, last February 20th, at 12:01 pm, a wreath was offered at the Upazila Central Shaheed Minar.
