Market monitoring of Rangamati DC to control commodity prices

On the occasion of the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, the District Commissioner of Rangamati is monitoring the market to keep the market price of daily necessities at a stable and reasonable level.

On Sunday (March 19) at 10.45 am in the district commissioner's conference room, the district task force meeting was held under the chairmanship of the district commissioner Mohammad Mizanur Rahman to keep the price of daily necessities at a reasonable level and after the meeting, the district commissioner and all concerned visited the market.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mizanur Rahman is monitoring the market conditions in raw markets, cloth shops, grocery stores and shopping malls in the city. At this time, he gave instructions to the traders to display the price list and not to charge excessive prices.

The Deputy Commissioner said that market monitoring and mobile courts will continue to control the price of daily necessities as per the government's instructions. We request the traders to display the price list in every business establishment and not to sell daily necessities at high prices.

Additional District Commissioner (General) Md Saiful Islam, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Bijay Kumar Joardar, Rangamati Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Najma Binte Amin, District Food Controller Kaniz Jahan Bindu, Rangamati Sadar Upazila Female Vice Chairman Nasreen Islam along with Bazar Trders' Welfare Association members were present.
