Manless Shailkupa in fear of arrest

On Sunday morning, the police and the crowd clashed at Shailkupa police station gate. Attacks and counterattacks continued for about half an hour. The angry mob pelted the police with bricks. Police used weapons to control the situation.
Firoz Shikder, Ali Akbar, Haji Shikder, Rajib, Azgar, Tuhin, Nafis, Salamat, Muim, Jannat Hussain, Asaduzzaman, Saifuddin, Sattar Shikder, Imon Shikder, Abdus Sattar, Faruk and Jalil were injured by the attackers' bricks and police tearcells and rubber bullets. And at least 30 people, including policemen Feroz, Hasan, Sohan, Imran, were reportedly injured.
Some were shot. The police filed a case against 500 people, including 114 unidentified people, in the Shailkupa police station attack. 15 of them have been arrested. Dhawra and Bondekhali villages of Shailkupa are almost devoid of men due to the fear of arrest. Meanwhile, panic has spread throughout Shailkupa. Businesses and markets are closed. Common people are demanding their security.
