Mahtab Uddin Ahmed elected ICMAB president

Mahtab Uddin Ahmed FCMA, founder of BuildCon Consultancies Limited & BuildNations Ltd, has been elected the President the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB).
ICMAB elected its new leadership team for 2025 in its Council Meeting held on Sunday.
Md. Kausar Alam FCMA and Abdul Matin Patwary FCMA were elected as Vice-Presidents, Hasnain Thoufiq Ahmed FCMA was elected as the Secretary and Md. Maksudur Rahman FCMA will serve as Treasurer.
Mahtab Uddin previously served as the CEO and Managing Director of Robi Axiata Ltd., where he achieved significant milestones in leadership and corporate success.
Ahmed holds both Honors and Masters in Accounting from Dhaka University with distinction.
He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School (AMP 190) and IMB Switzerland and has also completed several advanced programs with INSEAD.
