Pirojpur Correspondent
BNP Central leader and Pirojpur District BNP Convener Principal Alamgir Hossain said that Awami League is a party of looting .
Looting in the name of ruling the country is their political character. They do not want the welfare of the people of the country. That is why after independence, despite the country's extremely troubled economic situation, the members of the Sheikh family lived a luxurious life. They gave the son of the Sheikh family a wedding with pomp. The people of the Sheikh family have robbed banks and controlled all the businesses in the country.
They have looted crores of taka. In the last 16 years, Sheikh Hasina and her family have looted the country and made it poor. The country has become a bottomless basket. To continue their looting, the government of the country has carried out various types of torture and oppression on the opposition ideology to maintain its power. And to save themselves from this oppression, the people of this country expelled them from the country through a 5th August revolution. He said this while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion meeting held on the occasion of Victory Day on Tuesday (December 17) afternoon at the initiative of the Upazila BNP.
The discussion meeting held on Nazirpur Sadar Bazar Road under the chairmanship of Upazila BNP Joint Convener Md. Rafiqul Islam Faraji was addressed by Upazila BNP Member Secretary Abu Hasan Khan, Upazila Chhatra Dal Convener HM Shamim Hawlader, Upazila Jubo Dal General Secretary Md. Mizanor Rahman Ripon and others.
At that time, he also said that the Awami League is conspiring in various ways to endanger the country's second independence achieved on August 5. The patriotic people must stand up against all kinds of conspiracies. And everyone must remain united to build the future Bangladesh under the leadership of Tarique Rahman.
