Law and Order Committee meeting held in Srinagar

A meeting of the Srinagar Upazila Law and Order Committee was held at 4 pm on Tuesday in the conference room of UNO.
Presided over by UNO Md. Mohin Uddin, the meeting was attended by Srinagar Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Jubayer Habib, OC of Srinagar Police Station Shakil Ahmed, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Mohammad Jasim Uddin, President of Srinagar Press Club Arif Hossain, Srinagar Fire Service Station Officer Dewan Azad Hossain, PIO Officer Tajul Islam, Women Affairs Officer Kanta Pal, officials from the 14 union administrations, and student representatives from the anti-discrimination movement.
Discussions were held on handling the ongoing unstable situation across the country, overall law and order, and various related issues. Emphasis was placed on increasing security in key areas such as the upazila expressway and local markets, along with strengthening the role of local government in maintaining order.
