Land Service Fair-2026 inaugurated in Debidwar

A Land Service Fair-2026 titled “People-friendly automated land management: Secure land, prosperous future” was held in Debidwar, Cumilla on Tuesday to raise awareness about digital land services and provide on-the-spot assistance to citizens.
The fair was inaugurated at 10:30 am at the Debidwar Upazila Land Office premises.
UNO Rakibul Islam opened the event, while Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Faisal Uddin presided.
Visitors received immediate services and information on various land-related matters. Citizens could apply for e-mutation, pay land development tax online, collect khatiyan and DCR, and submit applications for mouza maps directly at the fair. Several other services were also delivered on the spot.
Organisers said the government is expanding the scope of digital services to make land management more transparent, easier, and people-friendly. Such fairs, they added, are helping the public become aware of land services and encouraging them to access services online from home.
Officials and staff of the land office, local public representatives, dignitaries, and people from different walks of life attended the programme.
