Lalon Memorial Festival held in Baraigram

The 20th Lalon Memorial Festival and meritorious student recognition ceremony was organized in Baraigram upazila of Natore. The program started at 6 pm on Friday at the initiative of Ruprekha Lalon Academy on the premises of Bonpara College.
The program was presided over by Ruprekha Lalon Academy President Sardar Sultan Ahmed and moderated by Md Firoz Mahmud. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Laila Jannatul Ferdous was the chief guest and Upazila BNP Joint Conveners Professor Abdul Alim and Abdus Salam Mollah, Director of BUD International School Md Rafiqul Islam Pramanik were the special guests. The program was inaugurated by Assistant Commissioner (Land), Baraigram and Municipal Administrator, Banpara Md. Ashraful Islam.
Artists Sardar Sultan Ahmed, Selina Bhandari, Shuvro Khapa, S.M Alauddin, Jerin, Kakli Priya and others enthralled the residents of Bonpara by singing Lalon songs.
Later, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Laila Jannatul Ferdous presented awards and crests to the meritorious students of Ruprekha Lalon Academy
