Khulna Div Commissioner in Jhenaidah : No evil force will be able to disrupt the elections

Khulna Divisional Commissioner Md. Mokhtar Ahmed said that the Election Commission’s instructions will be strictly implemented in 10 districts of Khulna Division to counter muscle power and ensure that no evil force can disrupt the election in the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections.
He said this in response to a journalist’s question after inaugurating an eco-friendly fruit garden and beautification project at the Circuit House area in Chaklapara, Jhenaidah city on Saturday morning.
The Divisional Commissioner also said that everything possible has been done to make the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections acceptable, fair, free and peaceful. The laws, regulations and policies formulated by the Election Commission will be strictly followed.
Additional Divisional Commissioner Abu Sayed Md. Manzur Alam, Jhenaidah Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Al Masud, Police Superintendent Md. Mahfuz Afzal, Deputy Director of Local Government Department Rathindra Nath Roy, Upazila Agriculture Officer Nur-e Nabi, President of Jhenaidah Press Club and District Correspondent of Daily Inqilab Asif Kajal, newly elected President of Banglavision TV Asif Iqbal Makhon, General Secretary and President of Daily Manabzamin Aminul Islam Liton, President of Jhenaidah Reporter Unity MA Kabir and other administration officials were present at the time.
Divisional Commissioner Md. Mokhtar Ahmed said that the people of Jhenaidah are more emotional. However, they respect the law. He hopes that the people of the district will come forward enthusiastically to make the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections a success.
