Kamal Ahmed Majumdar, Member of Parliament of Dhaka-15 Constituency from the Bangladesh Awami League alleged that the former Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni has destroyed Manipur School and College.

Kamal Ahmed made this allegation to the Prime Minister while participating in the discussion of the motion of thanks brought by the President's speech in the Jatiya Sangsad on Wednesday.

Kamal Ahmed Majumdar said in the session without mentioning the name of the Education Minister of the previous government, the school was being run under the direction of the Prime Minister.

Suddenly, the educational institution that I built by putting Jamaat in power due to the manipulation of the former education minister and the DC of Dhaka has become a disaster in the last academic year. 2300 children failed. 1200 children got GPA-5 lower than the previous year.

Kamal Ahmed Majumdar said, my constituency (Mirpur-Kafrul) is home to numerous Jamaat leaders and activists. Already the Amir of Jamaat (Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury) had become a candidate (in the 2018 elections). Manipur School and College, the only educational institution there, is now in ruins.

He said, the head teacher is a Jamaat and he has been installed in power. He is suffering from paralysis, he cannot speak.

Despite repeated requests to the Ministry of Education, he has not been removed yet. They are filing court case one after another. They are taking the school to destruction. He urged the Prime Minister to protect the school. I built this school step by step on the land allotted by you. It is run by Non-MPO Educational Institutions Trust. I don't know why the former education minister has her eye on the school. I want justice for her too.
