Advocate Khandaker Nasir Uddin and Advocate Md. Abul Hossain have been elected unopposed as the president and secretary of the Kalapara Chowki Court Lawyers Association of Patuakhali. Chowki Court Lawyers Association, sources confirmed this information to the media on Thursday afternoon.

The source said that three lawyers purchased nomination forms for the post of president and three for the post of general secretary in the Chowki Court Lawyers Association election. In addition, the Election Commission also sold nomination forms for other posts of the nine-member executive committee. But on the scheduled day of nomination submission, one nomination form was submitted to the Election Commission. Today, Chief Election Commissioner Advocate Nur Hossain Khan declared them as the winners unopposed on the scheduled day.

Earlier, the annual general meeting of the Chowki Court Lawyers Association was held at the Lawyers Building of the Chowki Court. The annual general meeting of the association was held under the chairmanship of outgoing president Advocate Mujibur Rahman Chunnu. Advocate Tapan Kumar Bhowmik, Advocate Abdus Sattar, Advocate Gofran Biswas Palash, Advocate ZM Kawsar, Advocate Shahabuddin, Advocate Abul Hossain, Advocate Anwar Hossain were spoke in the annual meeting.
