Kajol's mother, veteran actress Tanuja hospitalised in Mumbai

Veteran cinema actor and actress Kajol's mother, Tanuja, has been hospitalised in Mumbai and is in the ICU.
Tanuja, 80, the actor was admitted to hospital on the evening of December 17 due to age-related issues. "She is under observation. She is doing well. There's nothing to worry about," a hospital source told PTI.
Tanuja has worked in several Hindi and Bengali films. She is the daughter of yesteryear star Shobhna Samarth and producer Kumarsen Samarth and the sister of another actress Nutan.
Tanuja has an illustrious filmography with several iconic roles in films like “Teen Bhubaner Paare,” “Antony Firingee,” “Rajkumari,” 'Baharein Phir Bhi Ayengi', 'Jewel Thief', 'Haathi Mere Saathi' and 'Mere Jeevan Sathi' among others.
